This is the work of clearing space inside you.
For you to feel, to soften, to finally stretch into who you’re becoming.
Have you tried regular, weekly therapy and ended up feeling like...?
-
“It’s helpful, but it’s like... I leave every week with more to think about and nothing really shifts.”
-
“Every time I start to go deep, time’s up.”
-
“I need more than 50 minutes to even get past the surface.”
-
“It feels like I’m putting out fires instead of making progress.”
-
“I know I’m getting insight, but I want something to change.”
-
“I always have to hold back because I don’t want to start something I can’t finish in one session.”
-
“By the time I finally feel safe enough to say the hard thing… the session’s over.”
-
“I’m tired of waiting a week between breakthroughs.”
Sometimes life doesn’t unfold on a neat weekly timeline.
Maybe you’re in a season of change, reinvention, or decision—something that’s asking a lot of you, all at once. And maybe weekly sessions just don’t fit your busy life.

That doesn’t mean you can’t go deep. It just means you need a format that moves with you.
Why choose a Somatic Therapy Intensive?
A therapy intensive is an extended, structured session (typically half-day, full-day, or multi-day) designed to give you more time to go deep, integrate, and shift.

Instead of doing 50-minute check-ins that get cut off just as you’re cracking open something important, we create a focused arc together.
You get the time and space to really be with what’s coming up—without having to rush or compartmentalize it between work meetings or childcare.

Intensives are more than breakthroughs, they're about giving your body and mind a chance to settle, explore, and actually shift.
Crafting Your Personalized Somatic Therapy Intensive
Somatic Therapy Intensives are like therapy... but with TSA PreCheck and CLEAR—easeful, focused, and built to reduce friction.
No emotional holding pattern, no circling the same pattern for months. Just a clear path to the work your system is ready for.

Your Investment
These intensives are customized for you—designed around what you’re navigating, what support you need, and how much time your system can truly work with (without overwhelm).

Most intensives include an intake session, a multi-hour intensive, and an integration session.

Packages start at $1,685 for a half-day (3-hour) intensive, and full-day or multi-day options are available.
The Research
Therapy intensives are a newer offering in the clinical world—but early research is promising.

A major clinical trial published in the American Journal of Psychiatry found that a 7-day intensive cognitive therapy program for PTSD was just as effective as traditional weekly therapy over 3 months. (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)

What they found:
-
Faster symptom relief
-
Similar recovery outcomes to weekly therapy
-
High success rate: 73% no longer met criteria for PTSD after the intensive
-
Well-tolerated by participants—no higher dropout rate than weekly therapy

“Intensive cognitive therapy for PTSD is a feasible and promising alternative to traditional weekly treatment.”
— American Journal of Psychiatry
The research base is still growing, but here’s what we know so far: When done well, intensives can offer real movement in a shorter time—especially for folks ready to dig deep, recalibrate their nervous systems, and reclaim what matters.

My intensives build on this research while going beyond just cognitive work. I integrate somatic therapy, parts work, and values-based ACT to help you not only understand your patterns—but actually shift them. We work with your whole system: body, mind, history, and future.
FAQ's
“I want something deeper, but I don’t want to rehash everything I’ve already said in therapy.”
Good. You don’t have to start from scratch. Intensives honor the work you’ve already done and help move the pieces that haven’t budged. Together we build on what’s already in motion. I will need some of your history to put together a plan for your bespoke intensive, bur rest assured that history does not mean that the intensive feels like just an extra long therapy session saying the same old things again.
“What would we actually do the whole time?”
Intensives are not simply long sessions. Together we map out an experience designed to support your goals and your body. You’ll get structured support, guided somatic practices, time for integration (and yes, breaks). You won’t be talking for 3 hours straight—and you won’t be left to figure it out on your own either.

And... this question makes me curious about what you're wondering! Is there a more specific fear or hope we could address directly?
“What if I shut down or dissociate?”
I interpret shutting down and dissociation as information your body is giving us about how you've kept yourself safe, and the pace you're ready for in our work together. You don’t have to stay perfectly “open” the whole time. If your body goes into freeze, we meet it with care, not force. This work is trauma-informed, consent-led, and attuned to your nervous system the whole way through.
“What if I get overwhelmed or fall apart?”
You’ve probably had to hold it together for a long time. This is a space where you don’t have to anymore. You’ll have support before, during, and after the intensive—including a follow-up session and tools for integration—so that you’re not left hanging if something big comes up.
"I already do weekly therapy and I honestly like that... can an intensive still be supportive?"
Absolutely! Part of the magic of intensives is that it is designed specifically for you. So, if you are really jiving with weekly therapy and you want something to augment it, let's design a bespoke intensive together.
"What can I realistically expect to accomplish?"
I’m genuinely glad you’re asking, because the hype around intensives sometimes skips over the nuance and I want to make sure we dig into allll the nuance.
What’s possible in an intensive depends on a few things: your goals, your readiness, and how long we have together. That said, it’s absolutely realistic to expect meaningful movement. We can often find a path towards unstuck, and begin shifting it in a way that weekly therapy sometimes just can’t touch.

But let’s also stay grounded. One afternoon won’t undo a lifetime of patterning and it won’t erase your past. Healing still happens in a human body, and your body will set the pace. You can expect is to leave with more clarity, more capacity, and a deeper sense of ease around whatever brought you in.

Honestly, let's talk about this in your intro call! The answer varies so much depending on your specific needs, goals, and support history—and I’d love to get a sense of where you’re at before we map out what’s possible together.
And the deets on the fee?
Packages start at $1,685 and cost varies from there depending on the intensive length and any extras you may select.
I’ll hold your intensive dates for one week while you complete the intake paperwork. To confirm your spot, a non-refundable deposit (half the cost of your intensive) is due within that week.
